Virtus Financial Services (Pty) Ltd was formed in January 2000 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of StratCorp Limited.

Virtus is registered as an Asset Manager with the Financial Services Board (FSB) under license number FSP 2421.

Virtus has full discretion to manage client investments into listed shares, money market instruments, participatory interests in collective investment schemes and other investment instruments. While share based investments are often limited to investors with capital, through Virtus’ unique Maximus Gold and Silver Memberships, most people can now afford the minimum monthly contribution, and also enjoy exposure to some of the best listed companies in South Africa.

Virtus also offers its clients the unique opportunity of generating an ongoing passive income, by simply referring new clients to Virtus that also subscribe to the Maximus Gold and Silver Membership through its WealthNet Marketing program.

WealthNet is a division of Virtus. The company markets Virtus' Maximus Gold and Silver Memberships as well as other products through its distributor network.

WealthNet is responsible for the marketing of Virtus’ Maximus Gold and Silver Membership product (“the product”). WealthNet distributes the product through a unique referral marketing concept. The company has also empowered approximately 25 000 individuals who became WealthNet business owners.

WealthNet has grown and developed its marketing and distribution business to such an extent that it will enable the group in future to expand its product offerings to its distributors. The division is performing above expectations and would contribute positively to future growth of the Group. The division is now operational in South Africa and Swaziland. The company is continuing with the process of establishing branch offices or subsidiaries in identified growth areas in South Africa and Swaziland to further increase the client base for the financial services division.
